Cookie Policy
How My Party Packs uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
Your choices
Essential cookies are required for the site to work. Optional cookies (functional, analytics, and marketing) are off by default and used only if you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time.
1. Who we are and which rules apply
This Cookie Policy applies to My Party Packs (PartyPacks) at mypartypacks.com. We operate as a digital party-kit store. Personal information may be processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers operate.
Because we serve customers in the United States and internationally (including the United Kingdom and European Union), this policy and our consent tools are designed to meet:
- United States — applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), where relevant;
- United Kingdom — UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR);
- European Union / EEA — EU GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in member states.
We use a single consent experience that requires prior opt-in for non-essential cookies (UK/EU standard) and provides California “Do Not Sell or Share” controls.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They may be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by our providers).
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
3. How we obtain consent
- On your first visit (and again after consent expires), we show a banner with equal options to Accept all, Reject optional, or Manage preferences.
- Non-essential cookies are not set until you opt in to the relevant category.
- Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key
mpp_cookie_consent) for up to 6 months, after which we ask again. - You can withdraw or change consent anytime via the cookie button, footer “Cookie Settings”, or this page.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing and keep marketing cookies off.
4. Types of cookies we use
